The sofa is meant to be a space for internal and external discussions with recurring and/or invited participants.

In a panel discussion situated in 2112, we asked ourselves, where did all this knowledge production get us? What was actually learnt, and what can we learn from it now in 2112?

The event was initiated by Jens Strandberg and Zoë Poluch. The other participants were: Toby Lynas, Stina Nyberg, Laurel Ptak and Uri Turkenich. The game was held at Konstfack in Stockholm.

I’m working with the major auction house’s multimedia marketing as subject, and this is an installment in the ongoing project of utilizing fact-checking in an aesthetic discourse.

The idea is to continuously work with different videos and update the site as the project develops.

The presentation of my work was a chapter in an ongoing project that follows a vast amount of information, it’s transformation over time and it’s streaming through the global landscape. Addressing issues such as the power of distribution, the visualization of information and the problematic storytelling of science.

We performed a process work during the day, creating a pit oven which was fueled with local apple-tree branches. The smoke from the fire was guided into an abandoned SAAB which a black tent had been placed around. On top of that we extracted the smoke from the car in liquid form, creating a kind of distillate of the hole process.
